Every home is a different job
We quote based on the home in front of us, not a generic hourly rate.
Apartments & units
Lift bookings, loading dock access, and building move-in permits handled before the day, so nothing gets held up in a lobby.
Houses & townhouses
Full-home moves with furniture disassembly and reassembly, and floor and doorway protection on the way out and in.
Downsizing & estate moves
A slower, more deliberate pace where it's needed — sorting, donation drop-offs, and storage for what isn't going straight to the new place.
Interstate & regional
Melbourne moves heading to regional Victoria or interstate, with the same crew handling loading and delivery rather than a handover partway.
What's included
The essentials are covered as standard — you only add what your move actually needs.
Furniture disassembly & reassembly
Beds, wardrobes, and flat-pack furniture taken apart and rebuilt at the new address, tools included.
Protective wrapping
Furniture blankets, corner protectors, and floor runners used throughout the home, not just on request.
Room-by-room placement
Boxes and furniture placed in the rooms you specify, labelled clearly, so unpacking starts from order, not a pile in the garage.
How we price a residential move
Three things set the price. We'll walk you through all three before you commit to anything.
Volume & access
How much is moving, and how easy it is to get it in and out — stairs, lift access, and parking distance all factor in.
Distance & timing
Suburb-to-suburb versus regional or interstate, and whether the move needs to happen on a fixed settlement date.
Extra services
Packing, storage, or specialty item handling added on top of the base move, only if you want them.
Common questions
How far ahead should I book?+
Two to three weeks gives you the best pick of dates, especially around the end of the month. We do take bookings with 48 hours' notice when a crew is free.
Do you provide boxes and packing materials?+
Yes — boxes, tape, and paper can be dropped off ahead of the move or brought on the day if you'd rather we pack as we go.
What happens if something is damaged?+
Every move is covered by transit insurance. If something is damaged, you report it to your move coordinator and it's handled directly — no separate claims line to chase.
Can you move on a weekend or public holiday?+
Yes, weekends are our busiest days for residential moves. Public holidays are available at a small surcharge, which is disclosed in the quote up front.
