Packing & unpacking

Boxed properly the first time, so nothing gets a second trip.

From a single kitchen packed the morning of the move to a full-house pack the day before, we wrap, box, and label everything so it arrives in one piece and lands in the right room.

Pick how much we handle

Some clients want everything done. Others just want the kitchen and the wardrobe.

01

Full-service pack

Every room boxed, wrapped, and labelled ahead of moving day. You point, we pack — nothing left for you to do but decide what stays out.

02

Partial pack

The rooms you'd rather not do yourself — usually the kitchen, garage, or a home office — while you handle the rest at your own pace.

03

Fragile-items pack

Glassware, artwork, mirrors, and electronics individually wrapped and boxed, even if you're packing the rest of the house yourself.

04

Unpacking & settle-in

Boxes opened, contents placed in cupboards and shelves by room, and packing materials removed from site the same day.

What's included

Every pack uses the same materials and labelling system, whatever size the job.

Room-coded labelling

Every box marked with its destination room and a short contents note, so unpacking starts from order, not guesswork.

Quality materials

Double-walled boxes, packing paper rather than loose fill, and bubble wrap for anything with a screen or a stem.

Inventory on request

A simple box-by-box list of what went where, useful for insurance or just knowing where the coffee mugs ended up.

How we price packing

We quote by room and by how much you want handled, not a flat per-box rate that punishes a well-stocked kitchen.

First

Rooms & volume

How many rooms are being packed and roughly how full they are — a home office packs faster than a kitchen.

Second

Fragile content

Glassware, art, and electronics take more time and material to wrap properly, and are priced accordingly.

Third

Timing

Packing the day before is more efficient than a same-morning pack, so it's usually the better-value option where your schedule allows it.

Common questions

Do I need to buy my own boxes?+

No — we supply boxes, tape, and paper as part of the service, charged only for what's used. You're welcome to reuse your own boxes if you already have them.

Can you pack the day before and move the next day?+

Yes, this is the most common arrangement. It also tends to be the most efficient, since the crew isn't packing and loading in the same visit.

What don't you pack?+

Flammables, perishables, and valuables like cash or jewellery are left for you to transport yourself — we'll flag these during the walkthrough.

Can I book unpacking on its own, without a move?+

Yes — some clients move themselves and just want the unpacking handled. We can quote that as a standalone visit.
